Synopsis

Some secrets are meant to stay buried. But love has a way of digging them up. 
 
EMT Matthew McCabe has seen it all—heart attacks in moving ambulances, overdoses in alleyways, even the occasional gunshot wound. But nothing prepares him for the man pulled from a wrecked car with no ID, a bullet in his side, and a story he won't tell. 
 
By the time Matthew goes looking for answers, the stranger has vanished. 
 
Until he shows up again at Matthew's door—bleeding, hunted, and very much alive. 
 
Dorian Wallace was supposed to be dead. It was cleaner that way. But when a mission goes sideways and the body count won't stop growing, he turns to the EMT who once saved his life. Matthew should report him. Instead, something in Dorian's haunted eyes pulls him deeper—into danger, into secrets, and into a connection neither expected. 
 
As coded messages and buried files resurface, Matthew and Dorian are caught in a deadly game where the past refuses to stay hidden. And the closer they get to the truth, the harder it becomes to let go of each other.
