This bundle has several biographies in it, which are:
Albert Einstein - Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist who was born in Germany and is mainly considered one of the finest physicists of perpetuity. Even though Einstein is best acknowledged for developing the principle of relativity, he also contributed considerably to the development of quantum mechanics.
The 2 foundations of contemporary physics are relativity and quantum mechanics. His mass-- energy equivalence formula, E = mc2, has been called "the world's most well-known formula" simply because it is originated from theory of relativity. His work is well noted for having actually impacted science philosophy.
Isaac Newton - We often think about Newton when we see an apple falling from a tree: The man who came up with the gravity theory, a physics scientist who gave said event and others significant thought.
Sir Isaac Newton was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, and writer who was commonly seen as one of the best mathematicians, physicists, and most prominent researchers of perpetuity. He was hailed as a "natural theorist" in his time. He was a considerable player in the Knowledge thought movement. In the year 1687, he wrote Mathematical Concepts of Natural Philosophy, which established classical mechanics.
Nikola Tesla - Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American innovator, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist who helped establish the contemporary rotating present (AC) electrical energy delivery system.
Tesla, who was born and raised in the Austrian Empire, studied engineering and physics without getting a grade in the 1870s and acquired useful experience in the early 1880s operating in telephone and at Continental Edison in the nascent electrical power business.

Philosophy has been underway for more than 2,000 years. The Great Philosophers traces the biggest and most influential thoughts in philosophy's long stride through history, beginning with the ancient Greeks and early Romans, the first philosophical thinkers in the West, to whom much is owed.

How their concerns became the concerns of those who followed is clearly laid out, as is the way their answers shaped what we now recognize as philosophy. The medieval philosophers are also represented, combining their religious concerns with ancient thought and carrying it into the Renaissance. The modern era, the explosion of philosophy sparked by Descartes, is well represented here too. Founders and representatives of both rationalist and empiricist schools make an appearance, as do philosophy's skeptics with their often-darker conclusions.

Philosophy's long walk continues, and you will find here the thoughts which make its contemporary form what it is, and perhaps what it is on the way to becoming. Philosophy is very much still underway, and The Great Philosophers pays regard to both the discipline as it is practiced now and to the history which made contemporary philosophy possible.

Beyond 1619 brings an Atlantic and hemispheric perspective to the year 1619 as a marker of American slavery's origins and the beginnings of the Black experience in what would become the United States by situating the roots of racial slavery in a broader, comparative context.

In recent years, an extensive public dialogue regarding the long shadow of racism in the United States has pushed Americans to confront the insidious history of race-based slavery and its aftermath, with 1619—the year that the first recorded enslaved persons of African descent arrived in British North America—taking center stage as its starting point. Yet this dialogue has narrowed our understanding of slavery, race, and their repercussions to the U.S. context. Beyond 1619 showcases the results when scholars examine and put into conversation multiple empires, regions, peoples, and cultures to get a more complete view of the rise of racial slavery in the Americas.

Painting racial slavery's emergence on a hemispheric canvas, and in one compact volume, provides historical context beyond the 1619 moment for discussions of slavery, racism, antiracism, freedom, and lasting inequalities. This volume shines new light on these topics and illustrates the centrality of racial slavery, and contests over its rise, in nearly every corner of the early modern Atlantic World.

A compelling call to rediscover the transformative power of art in an age of distraction, coercion, and spectacle – featuring an introduction from Pulitzer Prize–winning author Donna Tartt In Reclaiming Art in the Age of Artifice, J. F. Martel offers a compelling and incisive meditation on the nature of art in a world dominated by invasive media, rampant consumer culture, and artificial intelligence. Drawing on a wide range of examples, from Paleolithic cave art to contemporary cinema, Martel argues that true art reveals the unseen forces shaping our existence—forces that transcend politics, technology, and even culture. In contrast to artifice, which seeks to manipulate or distract, authentic art calls us back to the essence of things, opening “rifts” onto the sublime and the weird and reconnecting us with the radical mystery at the heart of the world.    Featuring an introduction by Pulitzer Prize–winning author Donna Tartt, this edition also includes a new afterword by the author, reflecting on the continued relevance of art in our increasingly mediated world.
