One week before the swanky, vino-drenched Flight of Fancy Charity Auction in Sonoma, California, someone decides that blending grape varieties just isn’t thrilling enough and goes full-blown murder mystery. A shady character—who apparently had a side hustle crafting counterfeit bottles of extremely pricey wine—ends up very dead. And by "very dead," we mean unrecognizable: wallet gone, car missing, computer swiped, and face… well, let’s just say the killer took “faceless” quite literally.
Enter Sarah McKee, our wine expert and (probably) the only person who can sniff out a wine’s origin and potentially a murder victim. But instead of a solid lead, all she finds is a crumpled piece of paper in the dead guy's pocket—a bunch of random numbers, circles, and checkmarks that looks like the world’s least fun Sudoku.

Together, they sift through Sonoma’s secrets, hoping the counterfeit crew behind this wine scheme will slip up before they get corked themselves. But as they uncover the twisted plot, Sarah realizes the list from the pocket isn’t just a grocery list of fine vintages—it’s the key to unmasking the whole operation.
