Summary
On the morning of October 5th, 1965, Morris Baetzold awoke with great anticipation. It was yet another school day for the 15-year-old, but it held a special significance - it was field trip day. Morris, along with 15 other children from the Methodist Children's Home in Berea, Ohio, was about to embark on a journey to Schoenbrunn Village, a place of historical importance in Ohio. While it may not have been an amusement park, it promised to be a welcome change from the usual classroom routine. But, little did he know of the arduous day that lay ahead.
