Beschreibung

Antibiotics are drugs that kill or stop the development of 
germs. Although antibiotics are often associated with 
contemporary medicine, they have been used for millennia. Like 
many antibiotics today, early ones were obtained from natural 
sources. 
Some foods and extracts from plants and essential oils have 
antibacterial qualities. When treating bacterial infections and other 
ailments, herbal treatments proved as successful as pharmaceutical 
antibiotics.
