Synopsis

Another high-octane thriller featuring Patrick McLanahan, hero from Flight of the Old Dog and Night of the Hawk.When a nuclear-empowered Iran begins throwing its weight around the Persian Gulf, the U.S. uneasily stands by, its military weakened by years of budget cuts and unpopular, inconclusive police actions. But the new president realizes there is one weapon he can use: the newest secret cell of the CIA's Intelligence Support Agency, code-named " Future Flight." Armed with speed, skill, and a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, the men and women of Future Flight set out to find Iran's key military, industrial, and command centers and destroy them— quickly, quietly, and without a trace. The team begins its mission brilliantly, but Iran and its allies soon take their war of intimidation further than anyone ever expected. With the Persian Gulf tottering and the situation escalating hourly, only Future Flight and its B-2 brethren can prevent a worldwide catastrophe.
