Jane Randall questioned for the hundredth time as the rickety bus bumped over what looked like little more than a cow path, why she'd taken the job as an assistant for the most spoiled actress in Hollywood? Oh right, the money and glamor. A chance to spend Christmas in London. But when a storm sends the bus off the road and into icy waters, she finds herself in another England, seven hundred years ago. 
  
Tired of waiting for his betrothed, Nicholas Montgomery finds her washed ashore, the only survivor of a shipwreck. When he rescues her, she claims to have no knowledge of him or of their pending nuptials. 'Tis enough to wound his manly pride. Determined not to let her escape, Nicholas sets about wooing Jane whilst trying to figure out who wants them dead.
