Beschreibung

They called it murder is the first book in a series called Ana’s Tale. Ana tells us about her lonely marriage and the amazing love that she finds. Though unexpected it is the most love that she had received in years. But sometimes no matter how much you love it may never be returned as Ana learns.

Ana explains her life as it has become full of pain and heart ache. She learns she has been in a love triangle that she did not want any part of. As she works and tries to live her life with her husband, she finds herself in a cat and mouse game.

The love and mystery leave you confused and heartbroken under the same breath. The way things used to be is all she wished she could have after the destruction of her happy life that at a point she took for granted. She was too busy wanting what she used to have and forgot about all that was right in her face.

She is fighting as hard as she can to become who she wants to be and at this point that is just to be free. The charges were murder, and she fights for her life as she tries to prove her innocence.

Humor, myth and adventure combine as the story mixes Irish folklore and modern-day New York. The mix of this mythological Irish background with contemporary American life is one of the novel’s strengths and provides many instances of humour and contrast.
The tone balances seriousness with something altogether quicker and more irreverent as the novel progresses, keeping the story modern and the reader interested.
