Summary

Welcome to your new Voyage Experience guide: ‘Khao Lak, Phang Nga and surrounding area',  which we hope will help you discover a part of this beautiful country that is less known by tourists and less detailed in travel guides. Yet, in this corner of Thailand, there are paradisiacal beaches, stunning karst landscapes, lush nature, warm and welcoming people, and a culinary richness that will delight your taste buds. This vast region has a lot to offer everyone, from families to couples seeking romance, to seasoned backpackers. It truly is an ideal destination to spend a fantastic holiday! A blend of culture, nature, and gastronomy that we have greatly appreciated through several unforgettable trips, and we want to share these experiences with you. We returned to this area and explored it extensively for several weeks.. We added our new discoveries and corrected some information that changed in our guide about Phuket and its region, but we thought it would be a good idea to write a guide specifically about Khao Lak, Phang Nga and the surrounding area  because few guides detail them. We really liked it and were happy to be able to come back to discover more!

The quilter and Kansas City Star Quilts editor shares a collection of historic designs inspired by a treasure trove of antique American quilts.  Finders Keepers Quilts is based on a collection of quilts discovered in an abandoned farmhouse in Davis County, Iowa. As new owner Susan Knapp searched through the house, she found stone crocks, pretty dishes, and other intriguing odds and ends. But best of all, she found a box of beautiful quilts made in the early 1900s.    Famed quilter Edie McGinnis has worked with Susan to re-create these stunning designs, using reproduction fabric to reflect the time period in which they were made. She has also included an updated version of each quilt, with clear, concise instructions that will appeal to today’s modern quilters.

From No. 1 best selling Self-Help, Counselling and Travel author Pearl Howie – the audiobook of her mini-guide to Phoenix, Arizona. There’s a reason this place is called Phoenix. We talk about awakening, awareness and other terms in healing, they’ve become quite the buzz words (along with “woke,”) but, for me, what I would call my awakening was a momentary death of ego and a rebirth of mind, body and spirit. Was it the firewalk, the driving, the teachers I met along the way? …or just the Native American ritual in a world class spa? I’ve experienced so many types of healing - all I know is that what works for one person is wrong for another. Every body is different.Although I started writing these mini-guides to share the hotel, spa and the rest, the retreat in a box I dreamt of when I first began Pearl Escapes, they are also just stories ...for the unadventurous adventurer, as well as the keen explorer, we each have our own way of experiencing life. From the Amazon Best Selling author of the "Camino de la Luna" series and the Pearl Escapes guides."You will come away feeling as if she was sharing with you personally and will want to read more of her life adventures.”“I’ve just booked my first holiday in 13 years!”"To me, you are a hero... You have learned to take something negative in your life and make it a positive... a gift to others. It doesn't get any better than that. Don't doubt that you are capable of helping others... in terms of other of life's difficulties... What an adventure!"
