Synopsis

Christmas cookies, a party and a dead body… 
With Christmas just around the corner, Maddie Mills is happier than she’s been in years. She's enjoying living in her hometown with her two lovable Westies. With her best childhood friend and sister in her life again, and the reopening of her parents’ bakery with her niece, she is excited to see what the future holds. When she is invited to the local Christmas cookie exchange, she puts on her baking hat, so she can show off her delicious cookies and meet some of the locals. 
But her best-laid plans come crumbling down when someone turns up dead. With a party full of suspects, Maddie decides to do a little snooping to help nab the killer. But will the perplexing police chief let her help, or will he stop her in her tracks? The victim had more enemies than Maddie bargained for, and things are more complicated than they seem. 
Will Maddie find the murderer in time for Christmas? Or has she bitten off more than she can chew? Will her sleuthing efforts turn out to be a recipe for disaster?
