Synopsis

In the heart of the Devon countryside lives Daisy, a spirited Jersey cow with a longing for adventure. One night, she leaps over the moon, landing in a field far from home and embarking on a thrilling journey. Along the way, she befriends a charming cast of characters: Billy the wise badger, Felix the cunning fox, and Bruce the timid bunny. Together, this unlikely quartet explores the idyllic landscape, their bond strengthening with every escapade, including a perilous river crossing that tests their courage and friendship. Their adventure takes a chaotic turn when they stumble upon a family picnic. Drawn by the glint of a silver spoon, a cherished family heirloom, Daisy is overcome by a mad urge and leaps over the picnic spread, causing a great commotion. However, the magical spoon has a calming effect on her, and she is filled with remorse for her naughty behaviour. Just then, Farmer Giles arrives, having followed her trail, and gently leads a repentant Daisy back to her field. Though she returns to her quiet life, Daisy’s heart is forever filled with the memories of her wild adventure and the friends she made, forever known as the cow who jumped over the spoon.
