Synopsis

Georgia Rose loves being a schoolteacher, and has no intention of marrying. Compromised in front of the entire town, by a man who has relentlessly pursued her for years, she is forced to flee. 
Sheriff Drake Calhoun rescues Georgia after an horrific incident where she is the only survivor. Fully aware the town is in desperate need of a school teacher, he tries to convince her to stay. Are his reasons more selfish than he’s willing to admit? 
Will Drake open his heart to this conflicted woman, or will her secret push him away? Will the two ever find their happy ever after ending, or will they live the rest of their lives in regret?
