Synopsis

   The Monkey King Series is inspired by the timeless classic the Journey to the West, one of the four great classical Chinese novels. This series follows the legendary adventures of the Monkey King, from the birth of the Monkey King and the rioting in the heavens, to the receiving the holy scriptures in the west. Renowned artists such as Yan Dingxian and Lu Xinsen and others have meticulously illustrated the series, bringing the vibrant story to life with a strong emphasis on traditional Chinese aesthetics. The adaptation of the text is crafted by celebrated children's literature authors Firethorn and Laomao, ensuring the content is both engaging and accessible for young readers.
