Synopsis

He was sent overseas to grow a brand. He ended up pulling strings behind closed doors. 
At first, it was strategy—markets, margins, expansion. But as the world bent toward profit, so did he. Power became a language he spoke fluently: quiet, persuasive, and increasingly untraceable. 
Soon, it wasn’t business anymore. It was leverage. Pressure points. Soft coups disguised as contracts. And as influence crept beyond the boardroom and into policy, borders, and lives, he stopped asking where the line was—until it was long behind him. 
Now the machine hums, and he’s at its center. But the question remains: is he in control, or just another part of the system he thought he was running?
