She was having cold sweats and heat flashes simultaneously. Her eardrums began throbbing and pulsating as she went to take her next step. It turned out to be a step she never made. Her body felt glued to the spot she stood in. Paranoia had started eating at her when an indistinct ‘hum’ began traveling through the air. It soon grew loud enough to drown out any other sound. When Kimberly’s mouth opened to let out a scream nothing but air came out.
