Synopsis

The summoning of otherworldly heroes is a dangerous gambit for King Edward Ricousian–heroes show up with ridiculous cheat powers and wild ideas about “human rights” and “justice for commoners.” But with demons on the verge of overrunning his starving kingdom, he chooses to roll the dice, and ends up saddled with Thomas Smith. The king and his advisors hope to control Thomas by setting him up with a “harem” of beautiful, deadly young women and carefully manipulating his perception of the war, hiding his country’s wrongdoings and painting their foes as evil monsters. But Thomas isn’t the kind of person who lets anyone control him. Can a normal guy from Earth cut through the lies to find out what’s really going on–and when he does, will anything be left standing?

"I was desperate. . . . I couldn't turn off the dark thoughts, no matter how hard I tried or how much I prayed. And then I spent a whole weekend in bed, and the crying wouldn't stop, and I got really scared. I've had bouts with depression before—it's kind of a cloud I've learned to live with—but this time was different. I felt like I was going under, like I'd never feel hopeful again, and then that just made my anxiety worse and it all spiraled from there."
Wren Crawford is a social worker who finds herself overwhelmed with the troubles of the world. Her lifelong struggles with anxiety and depression are starting to overcome her. She finds solace in art, spiritual formation, and pastoral care along with traditional therapeutic interventions. But a complicated relationship from her past also threatens to undo her progress.
Fans of Sharon Brown's bestselling Sensible Shoes Series will be delighted to discover some old friends along the way. As Wren seeks healing in this beautifully written novel, readers are invited to move beyond pat answers and shallow theology into an experience of hope and presence that illuminates even the darkness.

During a mission on planet Tragul, I have the misfortune to get stranded with Lieutenant Agan Drankai, the most arrogant prick in the entire alien army of the country Ravie. I save his life during combat. But the big, tough Agan isn't too pleased having a "tiny" female as a mission partner.

When he and I end up separated from the rest, we get captured and brought to a secret lab supposedly operated by our allies. A rogue scientist performs an illegal experiment on Agan, which finally allows the cocky lieutenant to get a taste of his own medicine.

The tough guy is now no bigger than my palm.

He thought he hated fighting side by side with a woman before? Now, he literally has to be carried back to his army base by one. And the safest way for me to do that is to stuff him in my bra.

Despite his small size, Agan's ego remains as big as ever, but so are his confidence, courage, and loyalty. The better I get to know him, the more I find his "little self" growing on me.

How much does the size really matter? And does it matter at all?

A warm, feel-good, enemies-to-lovers, lesbian romance about chasing your dreams—wherever they might lead.

Powerful venture capitalist Claire Pressley is done with stressful New York and has set her sights on a "treechange"—renovating a homestead in Eagle Cove, Oregon, to make a gorgeous guesthouse.

Her plan isn't quite so simple when it turns out Eagle Cove's beloved town librarian Ruby Jordan had been saving to buy the homestead herself. Worse, Ruby had some grand, beautiful dream to turn it into an animal shelter.

Claire couldn't look more like a villain in her new town if she tried. Now she has to find a way to make peace with the locals, as Ruby furiously works out a Plan B for her animal shelter.

But even as the hot-headed women keep clashing, it's hard not to notice their sizzling chemistry, and how attractive they find each other.

It seems unlikely they'll even manage to be friends at this rate. And being more than friends . . . that would be just ridiculous! Right?

What if the person who knows you best is the one you can trust the least?
When Alice and Daniel meet at a clinical trial for an experimental memory therapy, their connection is instant, almost uncanny. They share secrets they’ve never voiced aloud, feel emotions that don’t seem to belong entirely to them, and sense the edges of their minds blurring together.
At first, it feels like fate. Then it feels like obsession.
As the boundaries between their thoughts begin to collapse, Alice discovers disturbing fragments of Daniel’s past—violence, betrayal, and something darker still. But is she uncovering his memories… or creating them herself?
Every revelation draws them closer, yet each step forward leads Alice deeper into a maze where nothing can be trusted—not even her own mind.
Chilling, intimate, and unforgettable, The Mind Between Us is a psychological thriller that asks: when two minds become entangled, where does love end and madness begin?
