Synopsis

Leon isn't jealous of his best friend. Really, he isn't. He doesn't do relationships, so while he's happy that Manuel has found the man of his life, he's not planning to follow down his path.
Hugh likes his life the way it is—familiar and predictable—even though most people, including his brothers, think he's boring.
He's in for the shock of his life when he meets Leon. Leon is the opposite of him. He's colorful and happy, always talking and having fun.
He's also Hugh's mate.
Hugh doesn't know what to do with that, and after Leon tells him he doesn't date, Hugh steps back, unsure whether or not he should tell Leon he's his mate.
Hugh can't keep it a secret forever, but can he ignore everything that makes him who he is and throw himself into what could be the happiest relationship of his life? And if he does, will Leon agree to take a chance, or will he run away like he's used to doing?

Never again. That’s the promise she made to herself after two men broke her heart… but is it a promise she should keep?
Phylomenia only has two rules. Never profit from someone else’s suffering, and don’t make the same mistake twice. Rekindling the flames of a thirty-year old love affair would mean repeating the biggest mistake of her life—falling in love with Scott and Garrett. So why is she tempted to fall again?
Scott made a mistake that cost him everyone he loved. The time has come to make things right.
Duty. Loyalty. Honor. Scott Archer built his life around those principles. But duty is a cold companion, and honor can’t heal the scars of the past. When fate brings the three of them together again, Scott must reforge the links between them or risk losing his loves forever.
Garrett never expected to see them again. The one that got away…and the one that never was.
Decades ago their love was torn apart by lies, death, and secrets. Now Garrett has both of them back in his sights, and he’s determined to rebuild what they once had… only better. Phyomenia and Scott aren’t same people they were back then, and neither is he. He knows what he wants, and he’s going to take it, any way he can.
Old flames. New dangers. And one last chance to make a play for love… Winner takes all.

Tim and Rod grew up a few suburbs from each other in Newcastle, New South Wales. They were gay but their worlds were not. Before they found each other, they were alone and miserable, marooned in a sea of impossible expectations. Rod was shackled by a conservative Christian upbringing, while Tim felt unmanly and inferior beside his macho, sport-obsessed older brothers. After enduring their own private versions of hell, Tim and Rod crossed paths on a dating app. They swiped for Mr Right, and suddenly everything clicked.Since then, they have taken on the world, including winning The Amazing Race in 2019 as the first married same-sex couple on an Australian reality TV series. That brought its own heat, with the charismatic pair still copping homophobic hate for their public displays of affection. But, as their book shows, when you've been to hell and back, you don't let anything get in the way of The Greatest Feeling in the World.

Native Country of the Heart is the writer and activist Cherríe Moraga's love letter to her "unlettered" mother. It begins with her mother, Elvira Isabel Moraga, who as a child, along with her siblings, was hired out by her own father to pick cotton in California's Imperial Valley. The lives of Cherríe and her mother, and of their people, are woven together in a story of critical reflection and deep personal revelation as Moraga charts her own coming to consciousness alongside the heartbreaking story of her mother's decline.
As a young woman, Elvira left California to work as a cigarette girl in glamorous late-1920s Tijuana, where an ambiguous relationship with a wealthy white man taught her life lessons about power, sex, and opportunity. While Moraga reflects on her mother's journey—from impressionable young girl to battle-tested matriarch to, later on, old woman suffering under the yoke of Alzheimer's—she traces her own discovery of her queer body and lesbian identity, as well as her passion for activism and the history of her pueblo. As her mother's memory fails, Moraga unearths shards of what it means to be Mexican in the United States, of her diaspora's Indigenous origins, and of an American story of cultural loss.
