Synopsis

It started with a girls’ trip. It ended with me in the arms of a monster. 
You’d think someone who’s been swimming in Lake Superior for over a decade would be safe going skinny dipping, right? 
Well, turns out, I can go a little overboard when I’m angry. And after my best friend and I get into a fight, I turn to the lake to let off some steam. 
I swam too far. Ended up stranded on a deserted island. And who should find me catching my breath on the beach but a hunky Viking warrior named Erik? 
He claims I’m in danger. That there are monsters in these waters. 
But before I can escape, I go under… and now he and I are trapped under the Kraken’s curse. 
It could be worse, of course. Erik is kind, caring, and hotter than anyone I’ve ever met. But there’s darkness in his eyes. Evil lurking under his skin. And according to the monster inside him, I’m the only one with the power to set him free.
