Synopsis

Haruto Tanaka has been crushing on his boss, Genkei Concord, for many years, but doesn't have the courage to do anything about it. Haruto is also often nervous around Genkei because the man can be cold at times. Hence, he's apprehensive about the Japan trip with Genkei because he's worried his crush will be discovered. Later on, he finds out Genkei also has feelings for him. The two start dating.
About halfway through the trip, Genkei's biological mother, who abandoned him as a baby, gets in touch with him. She lives in Japan and wants to meet him. He is simultaneously angry and sad about the situation. When the three of them meet up, the situation goes from bad to worse when Genkei's mother mentions something that triggers painful childhood memories and he snaps.
Can Haruto and Genkei salvage whatever remains of their trip while working on their relationship?

Falling for a werewolf was never part of the plan. Then again, neither was nearly dying by feed bag avalanche.Daisy's job as a vet tech at the new Mayfield Meadows wolf sanctuary comes with threes things: questionable hazard pay, a clinic that used to be a barn, and a boss who's clearly in on a secret no one's telling her. But the real trouble starts when Rylee—a ridiculously attractive, infuriatingly calm woman with eyes too emerald to be human—saves Daisy from an untimely death by burlap. It turns out, Rylee isn't just any ruggedly beautiful, chess-playing, suspiciously wolf-adjacent woman. She is a ruggedly beautiful, chess-playing wolf. A shifter, to be exact. And if Daisy had been paying more attention to her afternoon paranormal telenovelas, she might've figured it out before she made a complete fool of herself. Now, Daisy has questions. So many questions. Like—why do the workers keep vanishing right before wolves appear? Do werewolves actually howl at the moon, or is that just Hollywood slander? And most importantly, why does she feel like she's already losing a game of chess she didn't know she was playing? One thing's for sure: between sneaky moves, stolen kisses, and an entire pack watching her love life like it's their favorite soap opera, Daisy's about to find out just how fun and dangerous the game of hearts can be.

Lester "Les" McCoy is a retired cowboy who now lives in the city, working days at the Ranch and Feed. He loves his country music. Not so his tenant, Damien Ridley, who lives downstairs in his duplex and works evenings at the gym.
"Metal boy," as Les likes to call him, prefers to listen to all things rock and metal at decibels that make his ears bleed. Damien is attracted to Les, which he makes abundantly clear with those translucent gray eyes and his hot, kissable mouth. Problem is, although Les is in lust with Damien, he's an old prairie bachelor and sees his metal boy as too young for a roll in the hay. He'd rather be put out to pasture.
Enter a friend who's gay-bashed and a co-worker who kicks his head out of his ass, and Les reconsiders whether a heavy metal dude can help an old cowboy with the blues.

After years of the government taking everything he grows, homesteader George Vega has had enough. Food is scarce and people are starving. To provide for himself, he'll need to break the law. Together with his next-door neighbor June, he sets up a system to hide food from the controller during his weekly collecting visits.

Axel Rowe won't survive much longer. Every scrap of food he can get his hands on, he gives to his six-year-old daughter, but it isn't nearly enough. Luck is on his side when he secures a job as a controller. He realizes taking the job will make people dislike him, but he has to eat.

George understands the danger he's in when his old, lazy controller is replaced with a new, more observant one. Axel suspects there is something George is withholding, but when George takes care of him after nearly collapsing from hunger, Axel is more curious about how he's able to keep food for himself than he's interested in reporting him. George knows the risk, but after having looked into Axel's desperate eyes, he's compelled to take care of him. But can an outlaw homesteader have a relationship with the man who's supposed to make sure he follows the law?
