Synopsis

Who knew choosing a costume for a school play could also mean choosing a starring role in a battle in another dimension? When Jagger throws on a strange silver cloak she finds in her drama class, sparks fly and a secret portal opens up in the floor. Jagger is dropped into a curious new world called Skyboard - a place where video game heroes walk among flesh and blood humans. As an insecure, wild-haired teen with a limp who prefers gaming to real life, Jagger is thrilled to be in Skyboard. But before long, she realizes, wherever there are heroes, there are villains. Looking like a cloaked hero herself, Jagger is recruited by locals to help save Skyboard from invasion by the most soulless villains in gaming history. Forced to join up with other kids, who have also arrived in Skyboard under strange circumstances, Jagger soon discovers that the cloak is brimming with power and possibility...and so is she. Can she learn to love herself, tame the cloak and trust a new group of friends in time to save a world she has only just discovered?
