Summary

In this short story retelling of the classic fairy tale, The Goose Girl, Princess Evony is trapped. Cursed into silence by her scheming servant, what should have been the joyous start to her new life has turned into a nightmare. The man she should be marrying, Prince Maxence, is about to be married to her usurper, and Evony has been sentenced to tending geese, where her betrayer can ensure the truth never comes to light. To make matters worse, she can't seem to shake the enthusiastic goose boy into believing she has no intention of ever wedding him.
