Sinopse

All three Moonlight City Drive novels in a single box set!A private eye is hot on the tail of a Jack the Ripper-style killer in 1940’s Las Vegas. Unbeknownst to them, a three-hundred-year-old witch and her army of ghouls are pulling the puppet strings, manipulating the killer and the detective. When the detective gets wind of her and her motives, he must decide to either team up with the witch to take down the killer or team up with the killer to take down the witch. It wasn't personal, until the witch takes his granddaughter under her wing to make her the next prodigy and leader of the ghouls. Who will survive and who won’t get out alive?

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
"Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful."
A young scientist’s obsession with the secret of life leads to the creation of a sentient being—and a descent into a nightmare of isolation and revenge. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is not merely a ghost story; it is the foundational work of modern science fiction and a haunting exploration of what it means to be human.
As Victor Frankenstein pushes the boundaries of nature, he is forced to confront the devastating consequences of playing God. From the icy peaks of the Swiss Alps to the desolate reaches of the Arctic, this epic struggle between creator and creature remains one of the most intellectually stimulating and emotionally profound novels in the history of literature.
In this high-fidelity production, listeners will experience:
The Original Gothic Horror: A chilling atmosphere of dread, obsession, and moral decay.
Philosophical Depth: Deep inquiries into the ethics of science, the nature of loneliness, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Unforgettable Characters: The tragic Victor Frankenstein and his misunderstood, articulate creation.
Experience the story that defined a genre and continues to challenge the conscience of the modern world.

An author’s talents may seem obvious and indisputable as they move words and ideas into gathered phrases and stories.
But where do these ideas and stories come from? A lonely thought that suddenly gathers form? An inspiration from a Muse? A suggestion from an everyday event?
Perhaps in the case of their darker, more malevolent stories, other forces are at work. They help to nourish single words into sentences and paragraphs that ease themselves from the shadows and are suddenly upon us in twisted revelation that may thrill, may disturb, but will always engage and help us explore the edge of darkness where some of the very best literature patiently lurks …. waiting …. for the likes of me and you.

"The Shunned House" is a horror fiction novelette by American author H. P. Lovecraft, written on October 16–19, 1924. It was first published in the October 1937 issue of Weird Tales.
For many years, the narrator and his uncle, Dr. Elihu Whipple, have nurtured a fascination with an old abandoned house on Benefit Street. Dr. Whipple has made extensive use of records tracking the mysterious, yet apparently coincidental, sickness and death of many who have lived in the house for over one hundred years. They are also puzzled by the strange weeds growing in the yard, as well as an unexplained foul smell and whitish phosphorescent fungi growing in the cellar. There, the narrator discovers a strange, yellowish vapour in the basement, which seems to be coupled with a moldy outline of a huddled human form on the floor. The narrator and his uncle decide to spend the night in the house, investigating the possibility of some supernatural force. They set up both cots and chairs in the cellar, arm themselves with military flamethrowers, and outfit a modified Crookes tube in the hopes of destroying any supernatural presence they might find.
