Synopsis

Philadelphia, 1791. James and Maria Reynolds are flat broke. Well aware of the attraction between his wife and Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton, James hatches a plan to blackmail Alexander and get rich - and sends Maria to seduce him.

Meanwhile, the mysterious Dr. Severus Black befriends the Hamiltons and becomes a close confidant of Alexander's wife, Eliza. While Mrs. Hamilton grows fond of the handsome doctor, she also senses something different about the debonair young man.

Meanwhile, a vicious serial killer is stalking the city by night. As Hamilton's affair with Maria runs headlong towards personal and professional catastrophe, the constables of Philadelphia draw a net around the emerged killer of young serving girls.

But what connection could Dr. Black have with the murders, which a hundred years later would be mirrored in his own country... by none other than Jack the Ripper?

In 'Sharing Hamilton', historical romance author Diana Rubino and award-winning thriller writer Brian L. Porter uniquely blend the mystery and romance genres, based on the true story of the Hamilton affair with the added spice of a serial killer stalking the streets of USA's first capital city.

Tyger: A Story of Survival in the Jungle" by Michael James is a thriller that takes you dives deep into the heart of the jungle, where every decision can mean life or death.
Five friends, returning from a climb in the Himalayas, are trapped in cabin by a 400 pound Bengal tiger.  The choices the characters are forced to make under pressure, ratchets up the tension to nail-biting levels. Every choice, from deciding their travel routes to handling encounters with the tiger, feels weighty and fraught with potential danger.
What makes "Tyger" stand out is not just the external struggle for survival, but the internal conflicts that arise. As the characters navigate the treacherous jungle, their decisions often reflect their deepest fears and values, adding a psychological depth to the physical challenges they face. The overall pacing successfully builds suspense as readers are left wondering what consequences the characters will face next.
By turns dramatic and poetic, tender and terrifying, TYGER takes us on an unforgettable trek. The author skillfully forces us to confront our most basic fears, see how our beliefs dictate our choices, and question what we owe to both our fellow humans and the endangered, yet murderously dangerous, Tiger.

That’s what agents call it when they find themselves on the wrong side of command and are transferred to a place like Djibouti, Africa. He tried to open a case in Virginia that was too close to the wrong people. Now he’s being watched for even the slightest screw-up so his enemies at headquarters can drive him out of the agency.
When a sailor on leave from Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, is killed outside a wildlife preserve in Zimbabwe, Ty is hand-picked to lead the investigation. He finds himself in the middle of a turf war between ivory smugglers and an amazing group of female antipoaching rangers trying to protect a herd of endangered elephants.
