Synopsis

🎈 The annual Sky High Festival in the picturesque town of Aero Vista is a colorful spectacle of hot air balloons, but the celebration turns to tragedy when the lead pilot—a charismatic but ruthless businessman—plummets to his death in a suspicious balloon collapse. The accident is blamed on a faulty burner, but festival organizer and part-time balloonist Skye Hawkins notices the evidence doesn't add up. The sabotage was subtle, clever, and clearly the work of an expert. As the prime suspect due to a public feud with the victim over the festival's future, Skye must get her investigation off the ground to clear her name. With help from her adventurous dachshund, Nimbus, and a quiet balloon mechanic with a keen eye for detail, Skye uncovers a sky-high stack of suspects. From a rival pilot accused of stealing routes and a disgruntled former employee to a secret investor with everything to gain, everyone has a motive for clipping the victim's wings. Can Skye piece together the clues before the killer cuts another cord and sends her dreams crashing down?
