Surrender It All to Gain It All

BraRysheyia, desires to inspire young women, young men, and everyone else to become well acquainted with our Lord and Savior. Getting to know the Lord is the best thing we, the people, could ever do. God's presence, guidance, protection, and truth during our young lives is something so powerful that we should seek to experience it ourselves. We are the chosen people. God chose each us before we were born to be Holy, Blameless, and Adopted into His Kingdom by Him as His children (Ephesians 1:4-5). Who does not want to live a worry and trouble free life? Nobody. What keeps most people from going all in? Everything that has been placed above God. When is the right time? The time is NOW! Why not surrender it all to gain it all? Do NOT let fear stop you from living the life God wants you to live. How can you live the chosen life? Read the message in this book.

To save the innocent, they must face an insidious evil.

Wren Blythe has long enjoyed living in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, helping her father with ministry at a youth camp. But when a little girl in the area goes missing, an all-out search ensues, reviving the decades-old campfire story of Ava Coons, the murderess who is believed to still roam the forest. Joining the search, Wren stumbles upon the Coonses' cabin ruins and a sinister mystery she is determined to unearth.

In 1930, Ava Coons has spent the last several years carrying the mantle of mystery since the day she emerged from the woods as a thirteen-year-old girl, spattered with blood, dragging a logger's ax. She has accepted she will never remember what happened to her family, whose bodies were never found, and that the people of Tempter's Creek will always blame her for their violent deaths. And after a member of the town is murdered, and another goes missing, rumors spread that Ava's secret is perhaps more malicious than previously imagined.

Two women, separated by time, must confront a wickedness that not only challenges who they are but also threatens their lives, and the lives of those they love.

Modern life has led us to lose touch with ourselves and with others, severing valuable connections and destroying inner and world peace. In Peace Is Every Step (1990), Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh teaches us how to make peace with every aspect of life. Through mindfulness and conscious breathing, we can learn how to turn every minor moment or task in our day into a mindful learning experience. The goal is to never let ourselves be governed by negative feelings, but to instead discover their roots, understand them, and put them to sleep. We can then start spreading a message of mindfulness and practicing it with our loved ones, with a greater goal of world peace.

Hope for When the Pain Won't Quit

Everyone experiences pain at times. It can manifest physically, emotionally, relationally, or spiritually. It can follow tragic accidents, great loss, sudden betrayal, or unexpected and unwanted change. Often it is temporary. But what do you do when it isn't? When the pain just won't go away, when healing does not come, when the grief and hurt settle in?

Drawing on her own experience of chronic pain and her years as a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Michelle Bengtson provides a countercultural perspective on pain. Offering hope without any false promises or empty platitudes, Dr. Bengtson unwraps the complex emotional aspects of dealing with pain. She gives you permission to question God, helps you identify the lies you've believed about your pain, and reorients your perception based on the truth of God's Word. Each chapter ends with a recommended playlist, reflection questions, and a prayer.

Your pain may not change, but your experience of it can.

A classic account of the psychedelic experience

The Joyous Cosmology is Alan Watts's exploration of the insight that the consciousness-changing drugs LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin can facilitate "when accompanied with sustained philosophical reflection by a person who is in search, not of kicks, but of understanding." More than an artifact, it is both a riveting memoir of Watts's personal experiments and a profound meditation on our perennial questions about the nature of existence and the existence of the sacred.
