It's busy at the centre today and Coach Vargas and I are going to have to share one of the locker-room stalls before we get down to training. Luckily they have a family one free that we can hop in. I didn't anticipate getting horny while we changed and I guess Coach didn't either, especially considering I'd never done it before. I sure as hell didn't think I'd end up losing my virginity to him! Lucky it's noisy in here, because I'm not sure I can stay quiet much longer as Coach Vargas pumps it in my sex and my ass for the first time ever!

On top of the daunting work load, she's dodging her vain and obsessive ex-boyfriend, and working nearly full time to pay for tuition and the growing mountain of her father's bills.

Griffin Hawthorne appears to have it all. As a menacing defender for the HEAU Legends hockey team, he is no stranger to the pain and aggression of his position, striking fear in his opponents simply from the nickname he has rightfully earned—The Beast.

When a poor grade threatens Griffin's path to the professional league, he must find a way to fix it, and fast. She begrudgingly agrees when Griffin offers too high of a price to pass up. But after he inadvertently costs Blair her job, he puts a new deal on the table, one that results in her moving into Hawthorne Manor until the end of the year.

But with each study session and late-night kitchen run-in, the boundaries they initially set begin to blur, and they question whether it's their deal keeping them together or their growing affection for one another.

Welcome to Black Abbey Towers . . . where murder is just the opening act.

Halloween, 1899: a satanic aristocrat, a missing village girl, and a fire that scorches Black Abbey Towers into legend.

Present day: The haunted abbey has been requisitioned as a film set and the cast is dying to be involved.

Retired NCA advisor-turned-hitwoman Dottie Barker is posing as a stunt expert while secretly bumping off local criminals vigilante style. The "Quirky Quintet"— four fearless WI ladies and their eccentric plus-one—have been cast as extras, but their talent for stumbling into murder investigations proves harder to contain than their cackling.

As suspicious deaths mount, an ancient diorama predicts the murders before they happen, and the legend of the "Death Collector" comes chillingly to life. Someone is playing a deadly game in the sinister chambers beneath the abbey, and only a gun-toting pensioner and a ghostly girl can stop it.

Throughout the long centuries of human history is the want, and the need, to share information, to exchange ideas and for that knowledge and experience, for curiosity and learning, to be the basis of a civil society.
In literature the ambition is much narrower. In order to be known, to be popular, you had to be published. And for that people had to know you existed and your ideas worth reading. Obviously for most of humanity’s time people couldn’t read and texts couldn’t be published in any great number.
In the 15th Century Gutenberg’s printing press began the revolution to address the second and by the 19th century had gathered pace with startling speed and mass distribution. Education for the many was brought in to help people understand more of their world and, with new skills, how to have a better place within it. Now, if the powers that owned the presses and means of distribution agreed an audience would now be able to avail themselves of your ideas, your printed words.
Sadly, in the thirst for the new, the recent and the past fell from sight, relegated to dark corners and dusty shelves.
But the printed word is rarely without someone, somewhere busying themselves through piles of papers and books rediscovering what a good story is, whatever its age.
Sadly, in the thirst for the new, the recent and the past fell from sight, relegated to dark corners and dusty shelves.
But the printed word is rarely without someone, somewhere busying themselves through piles of papers and books rediscovering what a good story is, whatever its age.
In this volume we offer up a small selection of those talents whose time has now come again.

Ethan Ross was never a good flyer, but nothing could have prepared him for the nightmare of Celestial Airlines Flight 815. When a routine flight turns into a violent descent into chaos, Ethan finds himself at the center of a mystery that defies the laws of physics and the boundaries of reality.
Amidst the groaning metal and the screams of the terrified, one detail stands out—the empty seat beside him. Seat 14B. It was supposed to be just another passenger, a stranger in the night. Instead, it becomes the gateway to a chilling revelation. As investigator Frank Thompson picks through the wreckage in a cold, muddy field, he discovers that some stories don't end with a crash.
Seat 14B is a haunting exploration of fate, cycles of terror, and the thin veil between our world and something far more ancient and hungry. In this masterfully crafted supernatural thriller, Tabitha Monroe invites you to buckle up for a journey where the destination is never what it seems, and the ending is only the beginning of a thousand more nightmares.
