Synopsis

Brace yourself for the fast-paced short-tales in B.A. Buie's debut title Trini’s Blues.  The honest and poetic reflection of her journey to self-liberation. 
Contextualized performance art on paper is used to capture the thoughts and emotions of a black woman fighting against the odds and finding her way in a world of barriers. 
Using a combination of poetry, theatrics, comedy, and descriptive writing, Trini’s Blues chronicles a journey of self-reflection and growth. 
Cultural, spiritual, and social notes come together to create an inspirational story for those who have or are currently surviving their narrative. Trini's Blues challenges and encourages everyone to seek out personal freedom by examining inner self.
