Synopsis

Error and Loss digs out and exposes a fundamental assumption deeply buried both in common thought and in materialist philosophy: that reason transcends its evolutionary pedigree, allowing us to speak coherently of a reality divorced from all experience.
As we have moved from a religious to a scientific explanation of our cosmos this error has led directly to a terrible loss—the disenchantment that pervades our age. Yet when we dare to stare the error in the face all variants of materialism self-destruct, and the world we live in, the world of trees and rocks and stars and animals and other human beings, receives its once unquestioned magic back.

Error and Loss is a philosophical work of play and parable and paradox, a detective story that uncovers what has deadened our connection to our universe, then offers up both restoration and a reconciliation with the thought of ages past.

This is a compilation of 2 different titles, which are about the following topics:
1: There is no doubt that Michelangelo is one of the most influential artists of all time, together with some other Renaissance geniuses such as Leonardo and Rafael. Michelangelo had a vision, a dream, and the talent to carry out those imaginations. His life, in our perspective, is a compilation of great works of art, architecture, sculptures, paintings, and intricate movements, contrast, colors, and anatomy of the human body. Religious and thematic symbolism are intertwined in his frescos and structures. Each year, millions of tourists admire his works.

Let us learn more about this great artist: What he went through, what he had to put up with, the processes of his artwork, and his own convictions and philosophies that kept him moving forward.
2: Vincent van Gogh is undoubtedly one of the most influential painters of the end of the 19th century. His style was unique in that he used all types of colors in a painting that didn’t show those colors in reality and somehow, he still made it work and look like an actual shape. Different from other impressionistic artists, he developed his still lifes, his portraits, and other beautiful paintings.

An entire museum in Amsterdam is dedicated to the works of Vincent van Gogh. And even though his name is famous now, his life was tough, and he faced many fears, worries, and inner demons. Van Gogh was depressed. According to the narrative, he cut off his own ear, and eventually, he committed suicide at the age of 37. The sad reality that this artist’s success wasn’t evident during his life but only after his death, doesn’t change the fact that he is, nevertheless, a grand success. If only he were alive to see it.

Let’s discuss the circumstances under which this Dutch painter lived, and what moved him to go into the direction in which he did.

Britain won the Moon Race! Decades before Neal Armstrong took his "giant leap for mankind" two intrepid adventurers from Lympne, England, journeyed there using not a rocket, but an antigravity coating. Mr. Bedford, who narrates the tale, tells of how he fell in with eccentric inventor Mr. Cavor, grew to believe in his researches, helped him build a sphere for traveling in space, and then partnered with him in an expedition to the Moon. What they found was fantastic! There was not only air and water, but the Moon was honeycombed with caverns and tunnels in which lived an advanced civilization of insect-like beings. While Bedford is frightened by them and bolts home, Cavor stays and is treated with great respect. So why didn't Armstrong and later astronauts find the evidence of all this? Well, according to broadcasts by Cavor over the newly-discovered radio technology, he told the Selenites too much about mankind, and apparently, they removed the welcome mat! This is a 3-book bundle, which addresses various subtopics, including but not limited to these:
Book 1: What is Hygge? And how do you use it?
The answers to these questions are fairly simple, but they are complicated enough to write a short about it. That’s why this book will give you some answers as to making your home a cozier play, the Danish way, even if, or perhaps especially when the weather is cold and dark. In the last two chapters, we will briefly touch on what the Danish allow their kids to do when they have “free play” time, and how to create bath bombs yourself to have a comfortable hygge bath.
Book 2: Many people have heard of Hygge, but most of them don’t know how to incorporate it into their lifestyle. Hygge is based on comfort, warmth in the winter, and simple designs that reflect a homy, cozy feeling.
The Danish knowledge about this subject has left us with many truths to reflect on. This guide will teach you why some people are completely head-over-heels with the Hygge designs, as well as describe how to decorate your home, your bathroom, and your bedroom to match this style.
Book 3: How do you use the Hygge lifestyle during the holidays?
What about Christmas? New Year’s Eve?
And how do you practice Hygge in the living room or at work?
These and other questions will be addressed in this quick, comprehensible guide. You will also learn about ideas for random acts of kindness, how to involve the children, and the background of Hygge.
I invite you to act on your curiosity and begin reading or listening right now!

“A gift to our handbell community, the musical world at large, and to anyone who wants a peek behind the curtain at whatdrives passionate musicianship. Just wow!” – Brian Childers, Director of Handbells, Children and Youth Music, Myers Park UMC, author of Ringing Deeply, Devotions for Bell Ringers Part-memoir and part-love letter, Playing My Heart Out is a lighthearted, intimate look at the world of handbells and the ringers who geek out over them. From the first meet-cute story of the unlikely way the author discovered this unique art to the satisfying to-be-continued conclusion, Hillary Marotta shares funny and heart-tugging stories of the adventures and emotions handbells have led her through, and the life lessons she’s learned along the way. But this is not just a book for handbell afficionados. This is for anyone who has ever yearned to engage but has been put off by fear, lack of time, or disconnection from the soul-singing feeling pursuing a passion brings. Marotta offers her vision of the full and joyful heart we experience when we’re engaged in our passions, whatever they may be. Her invitation is simple, inspiring, and clear: Find the thing you love, make time for it in your life, and watch your joy multiply.
