Synopsis

A beautiful and touching coming-of-age love story with a touch of fantasy. Johnny, a 14-year-old boy from Brooklyn, and Brook, a 14-year-old Native American girl From South Dakota, meet at a summer job working at a cowboy show in the suburbs of New York City—first meeting as antagonists, then like childhood friends. Coming from different cultures and lifestyles, they learn a lot from each other. Johnny, a good kid but lazy with no ambition, and Brook, dealing with a tragedy, comfort each other and create their world. As their bond grows stronger, they begin a beautiful, innocent love of a lifetime. As their magical summer comes to an end, how can they return to the real world? You will fall in love with Brook and Johnny and marvel at the age of innocence we all deserve to have.
