In the midst of a bustling writers' event, Mathew finds himself in an intriguing conundrum. His story, marked by an unfinished ending, has left his readers baffled and eager for closure. As lines form to decipher the elusive conclusion, a mysterious girl claims to hold the missing pieces.
As Mathew grapples with the pressure of providing a satisfying ending, his estranged wife, Lucy, re-enters his life. Her newfound appreciation for his work leaves Mathew puzzled. Meanwhile, a fan named Beck unveils a surprising twist: in the world of his own story, the characters have overshadowed the writer, and Mathew is left questioning his own significance.
This narrative delves into the complexities of creativity, recognition, and the blurred lines between fiction and reality, all while exploring the uncharted territory of the writer's own story.

A young girl preparing for her bat mitzvah discovers she has mysterious abilities in this magical contemporary coming-of-age story from the beloved author of Orphan Island.
Hi, whoever is reading this. I’m Zipporah Chava McConnell, but everyone calls me Zippy.
Things used to be simple—until a few weeks ago. Now my best friend, Bea, is acting funny; everyone at school thinks I’m weird; and my mom is making me start preparing for my bat mitzvah, even though we barely ever go to synagogue. In fact, the only thing that still seems to make sense is magic.
See, the thing is, I’m a witch. I’ve been casting spells since I was little. And even if no one else wants to believe in magic anymore, it’s always made sense to me, always felt true. But I was still shocked the day I found a strange red book at the library and somehow...I conjured something. A girl, actually. A beautiful girl with no memory, and wings like an angel. You probably don’t believe me, but I swear it’s the truth.
Miriam is like no one else I’ve ever met. She’s proof that magic is real. And, it’s hard to explain this part, but I just know that we’re connected. That means it’s up to me to help Miriam figure out what she is and where she came from. If I can do that, maybe everything else in my life will start to make sense too.
    Anyway, it’s worth a try.

OUR FAIRY KINGDOM – ENGLAND 1885
Book 2 of 6 May Mysteries
This story is summarized as follows:
In May Mysteries, eight-year-old Ida and seven-year-old Arthur Pembroke notice their older siblings, Mabel and Leopold, acting strangely—whispering, sneaking into the forbidden woodland, and showing unusual kindness. Determined to uncover their secret, the younger siblings follow them and stumble upon a glowing fairy ring. Stepping inside, they are transported to Sylvandale, the Fairy Kingdom, during its vibrant May Day celebrations.
Queen Titania and King Oberon enlist Ida and Arthur’s help in solving a mystery—precious May Day treasures have been stolen! Teaming up with goblin detectives Snorg and Grizelda, they uncover clues pointing to a group of young pranksters. Through clever deduction, they expose the thieves—a haughty fairy, a clumsy gnome, and a cabbage-loving goblin—teaching them empathy and restoring harmony.
Back at Pembroke Manor, Ida and Arthur apply their newfound wisdom to solve The Case of the Countess’s Clasp, exonerating an innocent maid and inspiring their family to see others with fairness and kindness.
This is the second of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy, its only $3.
The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 3 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, male vocals, instruments are Harp,Flute,French Horn,Oboe,Organ, Genre is Operatic Orchestral and of course Classical and the mood is Passionate yet Serene. The closing music ends the tale on a gentle note and at just over 2 minutes, no vocals but the same musical instruments and genre but a more serene mood.
The story itself runs to about 1 and 1/2 hours and is narrated by Claire Francis, my wife.
I do hope you and your family are entertained by this audiobook and let me know what you think.
