Synopsis

The story “After the Theatre” tells us about a sixteen years old girl Nadya Zelenina. She was loved by two men: a successful officer called Gorny and a student called Gruzdev. She decided to write a letter like Tatyana's from "Yevgeny Onegin”. After the opera she wanted to be doubtful of their love. To be unloved and unhappy -- how interesting that was. She found herself very happy just thinking about these two men making love with her. But she couldn’t decide whom she liked more. Read “After the Theatre” by Chekhov to know what was in the letter and how easy the happiness is.
