Sinopsis

In this classic dystopian novel, an  island nation eliminates its residents at sixty-seven years old, and in 1980, one man has reached his limit. Welcome to Britannula. This country gained its independence from Great Britain in the mid-twentieth century. A group of similar-minded men then gathered to establish the nation and its laws. Among them was Gabriel Crasweller. An immigrant from New Zealand, Crasweller is currently Britannula’s oldest resident. The trouble is, decades ago, he voted to create the “Fixed Period.” It is a law in his country for citizens to be euthanized when they reach sixty-eight years of age, and Crasweller is the first to run out of time . . . First published in installments in Blackwood’s Magazine in 1881, The Fixed Period was released as a book in 1882. It is told from the perspective of Britannula’s president, Crasweller’s friend, as he tries to honor the laws of the land while handling the aged resident.

Henry the Hidden Hero didn’t always see himself as brave or special. In fact, he often felt small and unsure, with feelings he didn’t quite. Everything changed when Henry met Willy (Wings of Willy Series) ~ a wise butterfly who taught him how to recognize, name, and feel his emotions, and how to use his voice to share what was in his heart.
With gentle guidance, Willy showed Henry words like “I can” and “I feel”, and helped him see that speaking his truth brings real power. Together they laughed, cried, and discovered the strength that comes from honesty. And as Henry’s wings began to open wide, so did his courage. “I do have a voice! I do have a way! And maybe I’m meant to help others someday.”
Now, Henry is on a mission to do just that. In this heartwarming story, Henry flies from place to place ~ helping a firefly, caterpillar, grasshopper, bumblebee, and ladybug discover their voices, unfold their wings, and shine their light. Through magical adventures and gentle lessons, Henry teaches that true strength begins with knowing ourselves and trusting what’s inside.
Let this book spark your own journey!
Join Henry’s mission. Help ignite the light in one another. The world shines brighter when we lift each other up.
“My purpose, and the intention behind my books, is to guide others from the very beginning to look within themselves and embrace their unique selves and authenticity. We need to become aware and reflect on our own inner child and heal ourselves in order to raise our next generation with love, free of our expectations and demands of society. When we do this, we break free from the chains of our own upbringing and societal programming allowing our children to become their authentic selves unapologetically, and we as parents find who we truly are among the process.”

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
What if prophecy didn’t stay in the clouds but walked a market lane at dawn—brushing spice dust from its sleeves, bargaining for figs, and telling the truth where children could overhear it? Embers & Water: The Prophet’s Call is that story: a fantasy-inflected, historically grounded novel inspired by the book of Isaiah—where the word of God doesn’t thunder from a safe distance but lands on streets, kitchens, and palace steps until people have to decide what to do next.
Your guide is Asahel ben Jeduthun, a temple singer and scribe with quick hands, a careful eye, and no taste for heroics. Through Asahel’s single, steady point of view, you’ll meet Isaiah son of Amoz—not as a statue or slogan, but as a man whose sentences interrupt parties, steady kings, and lift widows. Around them a city comes into focus: Miriam, who kneads bread and courage with the same hands; Eliab, a fig seller learning to love honest weights; Shira, a merchant’s daughter trading spectacle for substance; Reuben, a guard unlearning noisy strength; and Shebna, a climber whose carved ambitions can’t keep his name from shrinking.
This is fiction inspired by Scripture, not commentary disguised as a novel. Where the text speaks, the story follows; where the text is silent, the story supplies human detail that honors its direction. Expect a narrative with momentum—not oracle after oracle, but a clear arc:
A vineyard song freezes laughter in a noble’s courtyard.
A king at the aqueduct hears a sign he does not want.
A bonfire of household gods crackles in the square.
The Assyrian herald’s mockery under the wall meets a city’s disciplined silence.
Deliverance comes in a night without arrows.
A sundial walks backward because mercy says so.
A long season of comfort teaches a people to keep Sabbath, prove their scales, forgive debts, and welcome strangers.
And through it all, the shadow of a Servant appears—gentle, burden-bearing, strong enough to heal without spectacle.

Megan is twelve years old in the first volume. She has two seemingly insurmountable problems. Her mother is frightened of her daughter`s latent abilities and not only will not help her but actively discourages her; and she can’t find a teacher to help her develop her supernatural, psychic powers. For she wants not only to know what it is possible to do and how to do it, but to what end she should put her special abilities. Jane, Megan’s best friend, is frightened of needles, and has overheard rumours about a state-sponsored campaign to inject everyone with a tracker bug. Megan doesn’t believe the conspiracy theory. When Jane starts to feel sick. she is misdiagnosed by her mother and confusion reigns. Eventually, Wacinhinsha shines a light on the Covid-19 pandemic.
