Synopsis

It is the school summer holiday, three months after Edie Marble faced off with the eco-terrorists. In Toronto, Edie uncovers a dark secret from her family's past that has been buried and seemingly forgotten about, but when Grandpa David starts receiving strange messages from an unknown number, the truth finally comes out...
Yet again, Edie sets off on an exciting adventure, this time to discover who has been contacting her grandpa and why. Along the way, she visits Washington DC and the Outer Banks of North Carolina before a dramatic climax in Dartmoor.
Can Edie uncover a hidden crime and bring the perpetrators to justice once agai
Throughout the book and the series, Anthony explores how things are not always what they seem - how our 'thinking' often represents our imagined reality rather than what is necessarily true - and examines the nature of the link between thoughts and feelings. In so doing he gives readers the tools they need to understand their thoughts and emotions better and to connect with their inner wellbeing so that they can live happier, more fulfilled lives.

From New York Times bestselling author Liz Kessler comes the magical tale of a (sometimes invisible) teen—and her truly super friends.

Jessica Jenkins has always been a perfectly ordinary girl—until one day part of her arm vanishes in the middle of geography class! Jessica's friends Izzy and Tom are determined to help her develop her newfound invisibility, though Jessica is more concerned with discovering where the ability came from. When it becomes apparent that there may be other kids developing strange powers of their own, Jessica marshals them into a slapdash band of "slightly superheroes." But when an unscrupulous adult discovers the origin of their powers and kidnaps one of the team, the rest must put their heads—and all of their skills—together to avert disaster.

Across the cyberforge sprawl of Techveil, where gearheart enchanters fuse chrome veins with arcane circuits and silicon sprites spark life into the grid's shadows, enchanter Mira fuses a chrome vein with sprite Vex, their fusion powered by a sprawl threatened by the grid's iron enforcers. The veins, fused in circuit vows and spark-kissed alloys, power the sprawl—or shorts it in EMP cataclysms. As they hack through vein-laced conduits and fusion-bound nodes, fused by grid sentinels and chrome rivals, Mira's enchanting fusion merges with Vex's spritely glitch, unveiling a cyberforge legend of veined spark. When a corrupted circuit summons virus swarms, they must fuse the vein to reboot the sprawl. In the chrome of gearheart veins, where every circuit pulses the magic and every spark hacks the iron, their urban fusion becomes the power that liberates the sprawl's soul.
