Synopsis

This novel is based on the lives of three people. Candide, a shy and naive young woman, a headstrong but mysterious man by the name of Pascal, and lastly, Marcel, a man who had always lived a life beyond the fringes of normality or conformity.Despite their lives being very different; they each share a tragedy and hopelessness they struggle to shake.This story starts with Candide, a girl who seems more than content to live in the shadows and protection of others, whilst still having to cope with the tribulations of life & family. Her quiet and introverted character, over time, changes when she falls in love.At first, everything seemed perfect, although over time, realisation started to set in that her lover was harbouring a mysterious secret, which started to slowly unravel. Despite finding love and independence, certain elements she had once taken for granted, slowly tangled together until she finally realised she had become embroiled in a world, she not only had no control over but also any understanding of it.With family being everything, her once simple but contented life slowly becomes jeopardised, and with it, all that is so precious to her.How can she control her many feelings? How can she keep herself, as well as those around her safe? How can she continue to function, despite gradually knowing the truth; when all she ever really wanted was to live just an averagely mundane life?

The case of the lost fireworks and guy.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute.
The story itself runs to about 7 minutes 30 seconds and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice.
The story starts on 4th November 1895 in the grounds of Buckingham Palace and it discovered that all the fireworks and the guy ready for the next day's night celebrating Guy Fawks infamy had gone missing.
Queen Victoria herself had organised the celebration and it would have been extremely embarrassed to have to cancel.
Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, returns the fireworks and guy to the Queen and the event is a great success. The Queen summons the duo to express her great gratitude.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of 6 to10 years old with the characters involved.
