Synopsis

Vixen is a Victorian novel of friendship, passion, and growing rivalry. Violet Tempest, known as Vixen, is a spirited young woman whose love of freedom and adventure sets her apart. Her close bond with Roderick Vawdrey deepens as they mature, but affection soon clashes with jealousy and social expectation.
