Synopsis

The Mucker by Edgar Rice Burroughs follows Billy Byrne, a violent street criminal from Chicago’s slums, who embraces his identity as a "mucker"—a thief, brawler, and outcast with only a code of loyalty to his own. After being falsely accused of murder, he is shanghaied onto a ship that hijacks a wealthy heiress, Barbara Harding.
