Synopsis

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.   
People everywhere are being taken off the streets at night by 9-foot-tall monsters who disappear in the blink of an eye. They have taken over 200,000 humans. The huge, gruesome creatures only materialize at night. They appear suddenly in the dark, snatch the victim and disappear in a flash of blackness.  
Carolyn, Josh and Mike are former military officers who have lost their spouses and form a resistance cell to stop these creatures. They search for clues and hide from the government who are more concerned with capturing resistance cells than preventing these abductions.  
Ben Lassiter. The President of the United States. He knows the truth and it’s literally killing him. He is an impossible situation where all his choices are absolutely terrible.    
Tasha Reynolds. Astrophysicist and wife of a police officer slain by the Nightcrawlers on video seen around the world. She is heartbroken from her loss and sinking fast in her depression. Will there be a lifeline to save her?  
Travis Becker. Former fighter pilot and officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency. He knows what’s going on but has been reprimanded for asking the right questions. Will he cross the line to deliver the facts to those who can help?  
The story revolves around the desperate plight of those who have lost loved ones, the powerless government and the resistance fighters trying to stop it.
