It is the tale of a man who worked to have it all and then found himself hanging over the jaws of death after a life altering stroke. Full of details about how he clawed himself out and acquired a new lease on life, the book is a mix of survival, self help and business advice. 
Its 15 chapters are split in a unique way. Chapters 1 and 2 introduce Anand’s background and the medical drama. Chapter 3 onwards, the book uses the Glasgow Coma Scale, an internationally recognised method of ranking severity of brain injury to mark Anand’s recovery from its lowest score of 3 all the way up to a full recovery of 15. Each chapter is about a special person from Anand’s life and how they taught him an important lesson that helped him remember who he was.
