Synopsis

MIA WORRIES ABOUT EVERYTHING. 
She worries about her weird second-hand clothes and busy mom. She worries about moving suddenly away from New York. But most of all, she worries about living with a grandfather she’s never met—far away in the mountains, in a place she’s never even heard of. 
Cosby is nothing like the big city—no bright lights, no busy streets, just quiet forests and people she doesn’t know. Mia feels lost and alone. What if she never makes new friends? What if she never feels at home? 
But then she meets Jack, who knows how to survive in the wild, and Chloe, who shows her a secret underground library. Little by little, Mia starts to feel braver. And as she spends more time with her grandpa, she realizes that maybe he isn’t as grumpy as he seems. 
Can Mia find her place in this new world? Can she learn to believe in herself and let go of her worries?
