Synopsis

Since the beginning of recorded history, the possibility of 
contracting a viral infection has been one of humanity's primary 
worries. Since the discovery of novel viruses and the occurrence of 
pandemics on a global scale, this probability has only grown. 
During the course of the last ten years, we have seen various 
outbreaks of potentially fatal viruses, including Ebola, Zika, and 
COVID-19. These epidemics have caused widespread alarm and 
economic damage, underscoring the need for comprehensive ways 
to prevent and cure infectious diseases caused by viruses.
