  Siddhartha is a 1922 novel by Hermann Hesse that deals with the spiritual journey of self-discovery of a man named Siddhartha during the time of the Gautama Buddha. The book, Hesse's 9th novel, was written in German, in a simple, lyrical style. It was published in the U.S. in 1951 and became influential during the 1960s.    The story takes place in the ancient Nepalese kingdom of Kapilavastu. Siddhartha decides to leave his home in the hope of gaining spiritual illumination by becoming an ascetic wandering beggar of the Śamaṇa. Joined by his best friend Govinda, Siddhartha fasts, becomes homeless, renounces all personal possessions, and intensely meditates, eventually seeking and personally speaking with Gautama, the famous Buddha, or Enlightened One.

  本书从句法与形态接口视角主要探讨现代汉语中三个与"得"相关的结构，即带"得"的可能补语句、结果补语句和状态补语句，并对这三类结构做出一个较为统一的考察。研究发现，带"得"的可能补语句、结果补语句及状态补语句受制于很多共同的限制，如该类结构中的动词都不能受方式状语修饰，该类结构都不能使用肯定的命令式等。本研究不仅可以找出某些带"得"的状态补语句与某些带"得"的可能补语句（或结果补语句）之间存在歧义的根源，还可以揭示与"得"相关的这几类句型之间的内部联系及其背后隐藏的普遍语法规律。
