Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, also known as Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, was a prominent Egyptian Quran reciter and Sheikh of Quranic recitation. He was born in a village near Shubra, Egypt, in 1917 and passed away in 1980. Sheikh Al-Hussary is revered for his melodious and captivating recitation of the Quran, which has touched the hearts of Muslims worldwide. 
From a young age, Sheikh Al-Hussary displayed a remarkable talent for Quranic recitation. He memorized the entire Quran at a young age and went on to study the principles of Tajweed (the rules of Quranic recitation) under renowned Quranic scholars.
