Synopsis

Is your child a gifted student? Most experts in the field of gifted research believe that approximately 3,000,000 children in the US qualify as “gifted,” a number that represents roughly 6% of the school-aged population. The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) defines giftedness as, “Students with gifts and talents perform—or have the capability to perform—at higher levels compared to others of the same age, experience, and environment in one or more domains. They require modification(s) to their educational experience(s) to learn and realize their potential.” This audio program will help you identify the characteristics and recognize the common needs of a gifted child. You will learn how to advocate appropriately for your child and help them develop a passion for life and learning.
