Synopsis

Companion to Eternal Summer
Leo Hayes has come to June Lake to finish the last job on his list as his father's executor: cleaning out the old cabin and putting it on the market. Then a stranger rolls into the yard, a schoolteacher named Orlando Ortiz who's up the mountain researching a story about Old Hollywood getaways.
They bond over books, then over dinner. By the next morning, Leo realizes he doesn't want to sell the cabin. All the memories here are good ones -- and a night with the charming younger man might be the beginning of something even better.
Orlando knew movie star Tommy Hayes had a son. Meeting the attractive older man turns his summer research trip into a summer fling. Except after their first night together, a fling isn't all he wants. Can their brief affair turn into something more?

    Never gonna happen.

Xavier swore he'd never move back to the flyspeck of a town he'd grown up in and he kept that promise for over twenty years. Now, he's back for good.

Vincent never left. After college, he stayed in town to be close to his elderly parents. These days he's the single dad of a fifteen-year-old daughter and working two jobs. He's perfectly happy with his life. Right?

Xavier's new mission is to breathe life back into Cooper Springs, but his stodgy, straight-laced, rule-following neighbor, Vincent Barone—is getting in the way.

Vincent doesn't have time to date. And he certainly wouldn't date his flashy, arrogant, neighbor whom he absolutely did not have a crush on back in high school.

Can two lifelong enemies move from hate to something more? Then there's the matter of the grisly discovery in the woods—murder is bad for business.

    A Vic and Matt Novel

Vic Braunson has a special kind of problem -- his lover, Matt diLorenzo, somehow imbues him with enhanced superpowers every time they have sex. It's something Vic has learned to live with in the years they've been together, and something he won't let stand in the way of their relationship. Matt hates the powers, particularly when they put Vic in danger, but what can they do?

When Vic stops an armed robbery at a local convenience store, his picture appears in the morning paper. Later that day, Matt gets a phone call at work from Jordan Dubrowski, a guy he knew in high school. Jordan was his first, in every way -- it was through him that Matt discovered his ability to transfer superpowers to his lovers. Jordan had a taste of those powers, and after reading about Vic's role in the hold up, he's decided he wants them back.

But Matt is in love, and Vic won't let him go without a fight. Still, Jordan will stop at nothing to get what he thinks rightly belongs to him.

Welcome to the pleasures of the night in this collection of Adam Carpenter's hottest short fiction.
In these ten stories, you'll be taken to dizzying new heights of pleasure and romantic entanglements. You'll be transported to some of the most exciting cities in the world, and even some fictional settings you may wish you could visit! Same for some of the characters you're about to meet, men who love and lust after other men. In these pages, sex may be the game, but love is the prize.
The men in these stories are fiercely independent, determined, and confident in expressing their passions and indulging their unquenchable desires. From hot cowboys to hotter firemen, buttoned-up city boys to country cuties, these men are virile and vital, handsome and hunky, and quite often hairy. Ultimately, these men are filled with an insatiable zest for life, love, and lust.
This revised edition includes "A Yearly Tryst" and "You Own Me," as well as "An Assurance of Love," previously published in the charity anthology Love Is Free.

    Chris

My straight roommate and I are totally not dating. Sure, Lucas and I watch videos together—yes, those kinds of videos—and sometimes fall asleep in the same bed afterward. And yeah, I bring coffee to his lab every day so I can get my hug fix. But at night, I've been out clubbing and trying to forget that my ex-boyfriend was using me. I'm so lucky Lucas puts up with my drunk shenanigans. Until he doesn't—and makes it impossible for me to hide what I really want. But it's all platonic. Right?

Chris means everything to me, and I'd do anything for him. But one too many middle-of-the-night rescue missions with him falling-down drunk makes me lose my temper. Bigtime. Once he's sober, I threaten to put him over my knee and give him what he deserves. I expect him to tell me to go to hell, but instead he blushes and squirms. He wants it. Badly. And now I don't know what to do. It should've been a one-time thing. But seeing Chris that way—touching him that way—has me hooked. Because my own reaction isn't exactly platonic either.
