The grounds of Camp Havenside look innocent enough — a chapel and worship pavilion, cleanly separated girls and boys cabins, and a lush forest surrounding it that, when the sun falls, goes still and undisturbed with a strange quietude.
Suffering from a crisis of faith, Sam, a young church-going teenager, accompanies his youth group to the long-undisturbed Camp Havenside to seek spiritual enlightenment. What he finds is something very, very different. As all supposed virtues and sacraments are perverted in brutal, bodily horrors, so creeps the approach of something that has slept in the secret folds of a cloistered Christian church camp for generations — waiting for someone to haunt.

"There you are Doctor, we were looking everywhere for you. We have another job for you," an orderly said.
"For heaven's sake don't beat around the bush!" Grumbled the Doctor.
"Another freshy for you!" said the orderly.
"Please refrain from referring to them as freshies call them a dead person!" hissed the doctor.
"Ok another dead person!" said the orderly.
"Take me to them," the doctor demanded.
"Doctor Death has come to do his job," announced the orderly to the nervous nurse inside the room with the body.
"I'm a coroner, not Doctor Death," said the Doctor entering the room.
"So sorry!" a reaper said walking out of the room. The doctor ran to the bedside of the dead person.
"Oh my god no," the doctor said weeping tears of blue electric fire which crystalized betraying his inhumanity to his colleagues.
"Blue Midnight is Doctor Death!" cried the orderly.
"Really, Sherlock how didn't you know!" said Blake crying,
"I was called here by my son because my wife was critical!"
"I just told him about his wife's death! Hey! That's your job telling people their relatives are dead!" the orderly moaned.
"I'll do you the same favor one day!" snarled Blake.

After eighteen months staying home under rolling pandemic lockdowns with her girlfriend Joy, artist Thea Palmer has decided the strained relationship has run its course and she's ready to end it—right after the stress of her birthday has passed.
Unfortunately, her surprise party comes with a special gift from Joy that puts the breakup on hold: a week-long cabin rental in the tiny northern Ontario community of Hope Falls, for just the two of them.
    No phone.
    No internet.
No contact with the outside world.
Joy says it'll give them the perfect chance to reconnect and maybe restore Thea's creativity after pandemic stress wearing down her desire to paint. But the cabin creaks at night under invisible steps, and the woods have trees that seem to shift in the corner of her eye. Thea swears she sees a strange white figure on the lake beckoning to her and an empty boat that drifts by in the early morning mist.
And Joy...Joy seems to be someone else entirely.
