Synopsis

Scuff is the stable boy at The Hanging Man Inn, a notorious den of thieves, perched on a bleak and lonely moor. To improve his lot in life, he decides to embark on a new career as a daring highwayman. His first act is to take a beautiful stolen horse being hidden in the stables. His troubles swiftly multiply when he discovers who the real owner is, and he is soon running for his life in this inspiring adventure told in verse.
