Hairy, muscled legs became slender and dainty. Hips curved enticingly. The waist dipped inwards, becoming something that Damien could almost circle with his hands. Bristly black hair turned reddish-gold, then sprang into a riotous, waist-length tumble of curls like an entire autumn unfolding in a moment. The heavy, brutish face turned delicate, with winged, arching brows, huge, tip-tilted violet eyes, a ridiculous little snub of a nose, and pouting, sensual lips. And that wasn’t even taking the breasts into account. They were…not huge. His mother’s breasts were much larger, even accounting for the difference in size between Lilith and Bert’s new body. But they tented Bert’s t-shirt, too large for the body that supported them, but perfect nonetheless. Damien’s eyes narrowed, and realization hit him like a hammer. He turned a laugh into a cough. What?” Small hands probed numbly at her body, then fell limp in shock. “What did you do? What happened?” Damien bent down. Explanations could wait. There were more important things to think about. “What’s your name?” “Y-you know my name,” not-Bert stuttered. “Bert. Bert Barnicle.” “No.” Damien shook his head. “That’s your deadname. You’re a woman now. And I know that you have chosen a new name for yourself, even if you never told anyone your secret, even if you only whispered it to yourself in the empty watches, in the small hours of the night, when no one else could hear.” A blink, then understanding dawned. “Bethany,” she whispered. “Beth.” “Bethany,” Damien smiled. “That’s a lovely name. Welcome to your new life.” Beth felt at herself. “You turned me into a woman,” she said blankly. “This isn’t a dream? I’m not crazy? This is real?” Damien ran his finger down her chest, stopping between those incredible breasts. “Feels real enough to me.” “Jesus Christ. My parents are going to lose their goddamn minds. Especially Dad.” She pulled at a lock of red-gold hair, her eyes crossing as she peered at it. “I wish I had a mirror. Am I pretty?” “No.” Incredibly, Damien felt himself becoming aroused. “No, Bethany, you’re not pretty. “You’re gorgeous.”
