Synopsis

Secrets and fears—everyone has them. Some more than others. 
 
 
 
A heavy secret brought Liam Connelly to DC, but it isn't the only reason he stays. Hired to tend bar at Bottoms Up, Liam finds himself drawn to his enigmatic boss like a moth to a flame. Fear of rejection and guilt combine for a nasty cocktail, and the only person he trusts with his truth turns out to be a man who's harboring secrets of his own. 
 
 
 
Jack "Dragon" Murphy dedicated his life to serving his country, but PTSD forced him into early retirement. Jack set out to build a new dream, and Bottoms Up becomes his solace from the inner turmoil caused by a secret he's been hiding for over twenty years, a truth challenged by a deathbed confession and his late grandfather's journals. 
 
 
 
When the two men join forces to bring closure to Jack's lost hero, they'll learn more about life and love than they bargained for. When their truths are laid bare, will they surrender their hearts to one another or forfeit their chance for a happily ever after.
