Synopsis

With the danger of political instability now a thing of the past, Agnes and Nazelbart have returned to their everyday lives in Sutrena. The two of them can now focus entirely on improving the lives of the people in their margravate, until Nazelbart one day drops a bombshell on Agnes: “Let’s have a wedding ceremony.” Agnes is a bit reluctant at first, but she’s eventually convinced—and more than happy about it. They now start the long preparations necessary for a noble wedding, but there’s a significant problem: Sutrena’s lack of a functioning church and priest. Fortunately, Nazelbart manages to get a priest sent over from the capital, but how will he adapt to life in the frontier? And will his appraisal be able to shine any light on the mystery of Agnes’s unusual magic?

The very first sci fi, written at the height of people making stuff up and pretending it was history (looking at you, Herodotus). Nice to see the art of the spoof is so old...A True Story (Ancient Greek: Ἀληθῆ διηγήματα, Alēthē diēgēmata; Latin: Vera Historia or Latin: Verae Historiae), also translated as True History, is a long novella or short novel written in the second century AD by the Syrian author Lucian of Samosata. The novel is a satire of outlandish tales that had been reported in ancient sources, particularly those that presented fantastic or mythical events as if they were true. It is Lucian's best-known work.It is the earliest known work of fiction to include travel to outer space, alien lifeforms, and interplanetary warfare. It has been described as "the first known text that could be called science fiction". However, the work does not fit into typical literary genres: its multilayered plot and its characters have been interpreted as belonging to science fiction, fantasy, satire or parody, and have been the subjects of scholarly debate.- From the wiki:

The Limerick family began experiencing paranormal activity in the 1870s right after their unique mansion was built. Clive Limerick reported witnessing objects soaring across rooms, hearing disembodied laughter, and crying. Other members of the family reported seeing red eyes staring into the house from the windows. Even the ones on the second floor. Food was thrown from plates and utensils twisted into unusable shapes. A headless skeleton stalked the property and rumor has it, it was responsible for the missing Limerick children.

On the day the remaining family decided to finally leave the house, a fire iron allegedly floated up and started hitting the last Limerick son on the head killing him instantly. The family's tragedies took their toll on Annabelle Limerick and abandoned the family home. No one was ever brave enough to live in the house again, until 2021 when the remains of the building were moved to Alabama. But the activity continues. The glowing red eyes have returned and the headless skeleton is being blamed for a missing carpenter.

The Gulf Coast Paranormal team is ready to get answers for the new homeowners but are they equipped to deal with this potentially evil situation? With new technologies and some old—they take on the Beast of Limerick House. But will this entity be willing to leave without taking one more life?
