Synopsis

A married couple moves to a secluded family farm after the death of the husband's father, hoping to rebuild their lives despite facing financial hardship and a strained marriage exacerbated by a prolonged drought. In an effort to improve their situation, they rent out the guest house to a charming older man whose vibrant energy initially breathes life into their bleak existence. However, his increasingly bizarre and dangerous suggestions soon start to unravel their fragile world, forcing the couple to confront difficult truths about themselves and their circumstances. 
Simultaneously, a young woman sets out on a desperate quest to find a man from her past with an enigmatic and profound connection to her life. Her journey runs parallel to the couple’s story, eventually weaving together in unexpected ways.
